About the Company
Melissa Rodriguez is your hair care professional. She's been in the cosmetology profession for 5 years. She started Shear Genius to support her own education and to further her career as a stylist. She has a very artistic background and is creative in finding unique looks to give each person a signature style, from cuts, colors, styles, make-up, manicures and consulting.
About the Solution
IDC delivered with several online applications to run her business smoothly. We wrote an online appointment program letting online customers choose a service, a date and a time that works for them, it automatically goes into your admin scheduling program, send her a message and the customer a confirmation.
IDC also tied the appointment program with a customer management software that allow her to keep track of how long they the customer needs for a certain service. Long hair customers may need additional 15 minutes, in which this software will automatically increase the scheduled appointment as needed.
This custom software also allows The Shear Genius to keep track of customer purchases, products and inventory.
